Wednesday 9:45 pm Jan 29./96 My dear Grace, - As you suggested, - we have commenced with our Master at the same time, and now my dear - as I think how now we should be on the sofa, almost speechless, listening wondering who will be the first to speak, contemplating in our minds many happy thoughts. But all is well as now we are of the same great faith and our maximum ideas coincide exactly. - This is a spring, warm, clear, moonlight night, just such as the one we walked away up the road and oh! how [fine?] No one walk will be remembered just so. At ten oclock your dear brother Leicester and I are going for an hours walk, do not know whether dare ask him or not, but guess she would think it rash, although I know it would do her good. I called on your Father after he had gone, so will wait to talk over St Joseph matters, but my dear do not worry about my daily expense, the greatest are already past and are in every way careful for your sake. Now 10 PM off for a walk Claire

We came to the conclusion that our ideas of last Fall were virtualy [sic] , to be respectful and now we should definitely settle on the plan of

of practice and self growth and cultivate my own record and standing, - rather than to help keep up the credit of one so great as Senn, who is in every way working for his own glory. - "Tis right your father says to consider that I must be of value or Senn would not wish me and that I must think of myself and individual development and own stimulating growth! So good night now my dear ever present one. - But be assured I am taking exercise and good food and sleep and am avoiding all exposures to harm. - So do not worry at all, please! Your own true Clarence You can use this cast off [ ?] it will do you any good.
