installment letter - when I was interrupted last night, I was about to tell you Will thinks that the Oberlin people will want you to give an Artists recital or sing some solos in one of the Oratories next Fall or Winter. - They pay well, never less than a hundred dollars and as much more as the Artists demand. What do you think greets me each morning when I awaken, - old Aaron Burr is at my home still, so you guard the { ?] fellow, there not to keep you in suspense, - tis you on a tricycle as a young girl, as when I first saw you, all happy, with Laura Burr, - Maud Wilson and one of the Fallows girls. This picture means a great deal to me, altho you are all in the shadow, but some one else is watching us, your mother's photo speaks each morning as I awaken, you can easily remember

how it hangs in your Uncle's room. 'Tis pleasant to have such constant companions, and dear Leicester and I believe more and more in each other this morning than ever before. We had a real good talk after our supper together. - Wish you could have seen us with our green raw onions, brown bread, plums, and sardines. - Les was as happy as a little king. Darling, - the oriole is here with its own note of song and joy, waiting patiently for your homecoming. Please let me know as soon as possible when you are to sail and on what boat and from where, you know why. - In another week I will have my letter from you, and you can imagine what a joy it will be for me.
