My Dearest Love,

I have just returned from a reception given the "Rubinstein" by the Apollo Club. We rehearsed the "9th Symphony" first, then had banquet, and dancing with many notables. All the finest singers in New York belong to these two clubs - especially the Apollo where everyman is a soloist of note -

We had a tremendously heavy fall of snow this morning. It seems as if winter had returned and only yesterday it was too sultry to wear over coats and everybody came out in spring costumes.

Well, sweetheart, I am tired so must kiss you goodnight, I dreamed of you last night, but only sad things.

I am so glad it is March. We are just that
