My Dear Friend -
Your last kind letter was duly received, and I intended to have answered it immediately, but one thing and another have caused me to make something of a delay. I have not time to write a long letter now. I am nearly through here [deleted]now[/deleted], shall finish [deleted]here[/deleted] next week and go home. I shall go to B. one week from Friday Stay there Friday night and see to our things. After that I shall make you a short visit, when we can talk over our affairs much more easily than I can write them out. I think I shall teach a school this Spring at [Lower Jay?], commencing about the middle of March. I can do as well for two months there as in my business.
Please excuse me from writing more [underline]now[/underline], but expect a visit from me [underline]soon[/underline] which I hope will repay a short letter now.
In haste, your friend
Henry.
