will come over and stay

Horace got news this morn-
ing that his sister Spencer
in Wethersfield was but just
alive - so John, Thankful
and he have gone down

the boys this week -
were well - T. had been hav-
ing sore throat - the Indians
were troubling them a little
stealing their mules and
the like. Charlie is not very
rugged - has grown two fast -

a kind pleasant boy -

Charlie Persons has been in
a hospital at Alexandria
ever since Levi came home -
is some sort of an [underline]assist-
ant[/underline] - he was home this
winter a few days - for
the first time - they say
he looked and seemed
[underline]just[/underline] as he used to - John
Willard lives where Geo Lewis
used to in this [underline]great place[/underline]
Geo. is liviing on Orville's
place - Little Eddie Gray
