Dear William

I received thy
order for the seven dollars per
month last fifth day but had
drawn the money that morning
before receiving thy note

the power of attorney was
sufficient with out any
order & an order like that
one thee sent would
draw the money with out
any power of attorney if the
Captain & quarter-master
would sign it

I suppose that thy going
into the hospital will not make
any difference about my drawing
it hereafter
