College Green Barracks Annapolis MD. Mar. 10th 64

Dear Mother:

At last I am paroled and once more free from the confines of Rebellia. If I am not [underline]happy[/underline] I am mistaken. We got here yester-night.

Eight hundred men were sent and five hundred men and forty-five Officers were returned. I am quite well, but very busy so excuse brevity.
