Sept.

Stopped about a week in
dugouts. 12th Moved up again
behind Peronne. 13th On working
party, making road. German
Plane brought down in flames in
the night. 15th Sunday, Church para-
-de. Went for swim in Somme in
afternoon. 16th Marched to
Peronne for a bath. We are having
good weather, and doing a lot of
swimming in the river.
17th Battalion parade. 18th & 19th
Out on the range with Lewis
Gun, and German machine
guns. 24th We have been doing
a Route march every day and
a stunt after it.
