[10] I am directed by Sir Harford
[11] Jones to accuse reception of your Letter Jany 24th. &to
[12] express his thanks for the care you have taken of the
[13] Packet by the Mercury.
[14] I am directed also to enclose
[15] you two Packets, one for the Honble the Governor of
[16] Bombay, the other for Brig: Genl- Malcolm. The for=
[17] =mer you will have the goodness to expedite to Bom=
[18] =bay by the first opportunity, giving directions to des=
[19] =troy it, in case of danger from the Enemy, and the
[20] latter you will also be good enough to put into the
[21] hands of Genl. Malcolm the Moment of His Arrival
[22] at Bushire.

Sir,
[35] I have delivered to Lieut- Allen
[36] two Packets one to the address of the Honble- the Gover=
[37]=nor in Council at Bombay and the other to that of Bri=
[38] =gadier general Malcolm -
[39] The latter I have directed Lieut-
[40] Allen to put on board the Fury if he should fall in
[41] with her on her cruizing ground and the object of
[42] this address is to request that if he should be unable
[43] to effect that object you will receive from him the
[44] Packett in question and immediately dispatch an
[45] express
