[1] periods and of its having turned out but of inferior Quality,
[2] in Consequence of which and other causes it was deemed
[3] advisable not to have further Conseigments from this quarter
[4] In reply I beg leave to acquaint you, that as the [paun] which
[5] was held open for the approval of Government has been
[6] declined, no further Supply of this article will be taken
[7] at this Station on account of Government :-

Sir,
[35] I have the honor to acknowledge the Receipt of the Governmnt
[36] Commands in this Dipartment under date 1 November last-
[37] informing, that a Supply of Stationery Packed in a Chest has been
[38] forwarded to the Superintendence of the Marine for transmission
[39] to this Residency :- And in Reply I am long to acquaint you for
[40] the information of the Honble Board that the Chest stated was thrown
[41] over Board from the Thetis Cruizer, for the Reservation of the
[42] Vessel, she having Sprung a Leak, I have therefore to request a
[43] similar supply may be furnished for the use of this Station,
[44] as early as possible
