A good day. Had a little rain
a bout day this morning. Need
more bad. Ben sowed some
rye this morning. Jim shelled
some corn this morning. Ben
went to the mill this evening.
Carried corn & rye & wheat.
I went with him on the
waggon. I fished while they
ground the grain. I caught
several fish. I intend to fry
them in the morning.

Josie has raked a place
in the garden and sowed
turnip seed on it. I do hope
that they may come up and
grow.

Ben and Josie dug bait for
me while I changed my
dress and shoes.
