I received your of the 21 Instant
Am glad to hear of your wealfair.
I hope thes lines you [???] so as they Leave us.
If you have Ben kept from any [ink spot] duty or
Indecincy be thankfull for it But Dont think
becaus you never have that you never shall - No
Leet him that stands take heed least hee fall. But
Dont stand in your one strength - you know whear
to go for Direction & Strength in Every time of kneed - Oh
Be Allways found In the way of your Duty - if your
with God hee will Be with you - But - if you forsake
him hee will for sake you - search the scripturs Dayly
for in them ye have Eternal Life
with out knowleg the heart cannot Be good
Dont mistake me. I Did not say knowleg made the heart good.
no knowleg is won thing and grace is another.

Your granmother Phillips is very Loo[e] the
cheif of her complaints is shortness of breth &
a bade cough.

You wrote that Mr Moody had some thots of coming
to Andover. Give your father & my complyments to him.

If an oportunyty presents we should Be exceding to wait on him.
