Life Saving duties. 91
The Petty Officer for Life Saving duties is to
be responsible for and execute all repairs to
Rocket and other life saving appliances.

He is to perfect himself in the Rocket L.S.
app. manual and drill that he may when
required instruct Rocket crews at the various
Stations.

On all occasions of being away on duty at
the Outports or Rcket Stations, he will keep
a log of work done, the distance travelled and
expenses incurred, to be inspected on his return.

Receipted vouchers for all expenses incurred,
except living expenses are to be obtained.

The Petty Officer employed about the Life
saving appliances is, when on board, to assist in
cleaning ship, Guns xe and attend drills, work
ing at the Life saving appliances, if required when
not so employed.

At sea he is to work with his watch.
