stokers for boiler cleaning from "Tyne".

Sunday today. Swimming party
over the side most of the afternoon.
Rec. party went ashore and got
caught in tropical downpour got
as wet as hell.

Still boiler cleaning until 17th.
All getting a bit sick of this
place, all anxious to get further up.

Still the same as 12th.

Had run ashore to Rec. Centre
scored a couple of bottles of beer

15/3/45
Completed boiler cleaning and
went alongside "Nabu Pier" for
water.

16/3/45
"Ballarat" challenged us to a game
of Aust. rules so accepted and they beat us.
