Weather abated this morning but as
usual it was raining. Land sighted
about 0900, should arrive about 0400.
Reached end of channel about 0500
and were lashed up with charts for
the convoy by a Yank landing barge.
After delivering charts proceeded
alongside tanker for oil then to an-
chorage. Strict blackout to be ob-
served here as air raids are quite
frequent.

Weighed about 0900 and proceeded
alongside N.A.A.F.I. supply ship for stores
slipped about 1400 and proceeded to an-
chorage. Picture party over to Yank L.S.T.

Easter Monday today so we worked Sun-
day routine. Picture party across to
L.S.T. During afternoon Philipinos were
alongside selling bananas for gifts.
