To His Hon. the Mayor and Common Council of Seattle -

Gentlemen: The undersigned paid special taxes on Lot Block 30 Maynard's as shown in the annexed (?) notice given by the City Treasurer. Petitioner is informed that the City will issue its bond in payment of the indebtedness for which said special assessments were levied and petitioner believes that in justice the amount paid by him towit, Forty-Seven + 88/100 Dollars ($47.88) be refunded to him.
