Clear day: Mary and Willie Porter spent the day here
father took Brother to Uncle Calebs in the afternoon on
his way home: Emily came from school and staid all
night: I had toothache: Lucy and Emily went to
Gennie Moores awhile in the evening. Anna Brooke had
a son yesterday. Joe went to Washington with hay.

18^th 3^d day
Clear and warm: father at Dr. Palmers all morning,
took mother to Uncle Samuels in the afternoon: Lucy
went to the Cottage with cousin Hannah ^Birdsal to spend
the day: Dr. Thomas here after supper. My face very
much swollen not well enought to go to the wedding.
Annie Marshal married today.

19^th 4^th day
Clear part of the day: Henrietta called here before meeting
father and ^took mother went to Ingleside in the afternoon,
then took Lucy to Grove Hill ^{he went on to H. [Stertus?], at Grove Hill to tea} , Helen came here before
meeting and staid 'till school was out, Emily
called by on her way home: Kate here awhile in the
afternoon: Aunt Nancy here after supper: Cousin Sally Brooke
called after meeting:

20^th 5^th day
Warm and clear most of the day: father took Mary and
Willie Porter to Dorsey's and back: he got home at 2 oclock
