Cloudy all day, begun to rain about 10 oclock and rained
all the rest of the day: father and Dr. Palmers and other
places in the mornnig, at Uncle Samuels and Ingleside
in the afternoon, on his way home: Lucy Snowden here
awhile in the morning.
30th 1st day
Cloudy all day, and rained 'till after 2 oclock: William
called before meeting: Joe at Phils and Burnside in
the afternoon: Lucy and I at Harewood after supper
10th mo 1st 2d day
Cloudy morning, fair afternoon: father went to Baltimore
by way of Laurel: started about 10 oclock: Henrietta
and Kate spent the afternoon here: Lucy went to Uncle
Samuel's after supper: I went with Kate to the store.
we put cousin Sally Brooke quilt in frame this
morning.
2d 3d day
Fair day: Lucy came home from Uncle Samuels in the
morning: she went to Alban Gilpins late in the afternoon.
