Cloudy day with some rain: at the store before
meeting: at preparative meeting, acted as clerk in
Aunt Lizzie's absence: father took mother to Ingleside
in the afternoon, he went to Perry Lurgises
home to supper: Emily Snowden and Emily Thomas
staid came from school to stay all night.
Lucy at the store and Gennie Moores in the
afternoon. Edwin Chandler died at his fathers last night.

29^th 5^th day
Cloudy all day: begun to rain after night: Lucy went to
Burnside to dine, to Ingleside to supper, and to Uncle Samuels
to stay all night: George Peters and William Bocies
here about 11 oclock to lunch: Ben Miller here to dinner
father went to Avondale in the afternoon, on his way to
Baltimore: I went to Harewood awhile in the afternoon.
