2^d 8^th 6^th day
A rainy day: father at Ingleside both morning and
afternoon: took Lucy down in the afternoon, and
brought me home: sister left in the stage this
morning. William very weak today: the Dr. to see him
at noon: has been every day but for ten days.

9^th 7^th day
Cloudy all day rained from a little after 3 oclock till bedtime.
William went off quietly without apparent suffering
this morning about 4 oclock: father and mother
went down about 8 oclock: I went down for mother after
dinner: Katie, Emily Gilpin and Arthur here in the mornning.

10^th 1^st day
Clear and cold: Joe and I went to Ingleside, got there
before 9 oclock: Uncle Charlie went to Laurel for
Brother and sister, they got to Ingleside a little after
1 oclock: walked home with Joe and me in the afternoon:
'Tis very hard to realize that we must so soon
