Cloudy and rainy all morning, cleared off about
the middle of the afternoon. father came home from
Baltimore, called at Uncle Samuels to dinner: Frank
came from school to stay all night.

2^d 7^th day
Cloudy all day with rain in the morning: Lucy
came home from Ingleside soon after dinner, she dined
at the Cottage and called at Uncle Samuels in the
afternoon. father and Frank went to Henry Harris's
in the afternoon on horse back.

3^d 1^st day
Cloudy most of the day, bright awhile in the morning:
Warwick here before meeting: Fred and Pattie
here to dinner: Charlie Stabler, Louis and Arthuf
here awhile in the afternoon: I went to Ingleside
about five oclock: Phil here to supper: Emily
Gilpin, Kate and Louis here after supper: hailed
most of the eveniing.

4^th 2^d day
Cloudy, with rain in the afternoon: Henrietta
and I called to see Aunt Jane awhile: spent the
day at Uncle Samuels, helping quilt: Joe took beef
cattle to [Fleuesters?]: father went part way with him
then called at Uncle Samuels and Ingleside: Helen
and Belle Miller staid here all night.
