1922 6th. mo. 23d. 6th. day Thermometer 62 at 7 oclock Bright all day; Frank finished cutting wheat here. Edward and Nellie both here. Asa Stabler came for me in the morning; brought me home in the evening; Took me to Edgewood and Drayton to call in the morning. The woman and boy from Cherry Grove here again to stay all night; the boy for the last time.

24th. 7th. day Thermometer 66 at 7 oclock. Begun cutting wheat at Auburn. Anna and Louis came in the afternoon; Marjorie and family here to supper; The womand from Cherry Grove came again to stay all night. Frank at Auburn all day. Edward and Nellie called after supper.

1922 6th. mo. 25th. 1st. day Thermometer 72 at 7/30 oclock. Anna went to Cherry Grove awhile in the afternoon, and she and Louis went to Auburn after supper. The woman from Cherry Grove here again. Thermometer 86 in the afternoon. Little Francis hurt his hand.

26th. 2d. day Thermometer 64 at 7 oclock. Anna and Louis went home; Marjorie and children came to spend the week; Frank at Auburn helping with the wheat, finished cutting. The woman from Cherry Grove here again.

27th. 3d. day Thermometer 66 at 7 oclock; 80 at noon A cloud passed over with a few drops of rain; turned cooler; The woman from Cherry Grove here at night, a thunder shower last night, about midnight.

1922 6th mo. 28th. 4th. day Thermometer 72 at 7 oclock. Fanny and Marjorie went to an Afternoon Tea at Melrose in the afternoon; Ellen from Cherry Grove staid with me; A cloud passed over late in the afternoon; Ellen from Cherry Grove here again at night.

27th. 5th. day Thermometer 70 at 7 oclock. Very warm in the afternoon. Hauling in wheat. Ellen from Cherry Grove here at night. Ethel Janney called in the morning.

30th. 6th. day Thermometer 72 qt 7/30 oclock; 84 in the afternoon. Marjorie called at the Cottages and Leacroft in the morning. Finished hauling in wheat. Edward here to dinner. Ellen from Cherry Grove here at night. Finished hauling in wheat.

1922 7th mo. 1st. 7th. day Thermometer 76 at 7 oclock, 86 in the afternoon; A cloud passed over in the afternoon; Marjorie and children went home in the afternoon. Ellen from Cherry Grove here at night,, for the last Frank away all the afternoon.

2d. 1st. day Thermometer 75 at 8 oclock, 86 in the afternoon. A thunder shower about 9 oclock at night. Asa and Llewellyn Stabler called in the morning; late in the afternoon Annie Russell, Percy and his wife and Mary Randal called.

3d. 2d. day Thermometer 72 at 7 oclock. Frank at Auburn most of the day helping with the hay. A very hard rain in the afternoon, about 4 oclock. Big fire in Baltimore last evening, caused by lightning
