Com. on the Farmer's Convention
1928
The Committee on the Farmer's Convention held its annual meeting
at the building of the Montg Co. Fire Ins Co at 2 P. M. Jan 13 1928
The members present were for -
The Farmer's Club - John S. Muncaster - David [O]land J. J. Hutton Jr.
The Montg. Club O. M. Stabler Robt. Miller
The Enterprise Club C. L Gilpin E. Runt Canby
Harvey Stabler Milton Bancroft
Clarence L. Gilpin precided - with Milton Bancroft Secy
The minutes of the meeting of last year were read & approved
After discussion - upon the motion of John E. Muncarter seconded
by G. Rust Canby it was voted that the meetings of the Farmer's
Convention be continued.
Upon motion of Wm M. Moore recorded by G. Rust Canby the date
of Feb 18th 1928 was selected for the next meeting of the convention
the officers & refreshment committee members of the 1927 convention
were reappointed by unanimous vote.
The assessement of the members of the club which support the
Convention was placed at 35 cents per member in order to cover incidental expenses and all Club members are earnestly requested to contribute full baskets for the convention lunch.
After a discussion of the program for this year's Convention it
was determined to open discussions of subjects of community interest.
The subjects selected for the afternoon reunion are as follows

Adapting Orchard Fruits to Meet Market Conditons
Dr Eugene C Auchter U of W
George [O]land
How to Raise a [illegible?] Litter
G Runt Canby offered to approach Dr Auditers in regard to addresssing the Convention
The committee then adjourned
