years of acquaintance with
Mr Stanford with a pleasure
that is free from any shadow
whatever. He was a man
always brave, candid, true
and generous, large minded
and large hearted, a great
example of right living to all who
met him, and a sayer of good
words & a doer of good deeds
for thousands who never grasped his
hand or saw his kindly face.
His memory will be blessed.
