God's loving hand through
all the sorrow that has
come and I firmly be-
lieve that He in His
tender care united Heaven
with Earth to bring
about the justification I
had so earnestly pleaded
for. I am still dazed.
I have not yet begun to
take up the burden that
is so heavy and arrange
for the carrying out of
Mr. Stanford's wishes. I
was obliged to go away
from home for three or
four days to gather
renewed strength and regain
my equanimity.
