stand in & pay for new flag for the Pioneer Society today -- Flag sent for several days ago by Hampton, arrived last Friday -- 20 ft long, cost made to order $26 -- Rickey is candidate for Governor, & I advised him to make a point in this way -- Our old flag got badly blown out on the Fourth -- so we had to have a new one -- & I took this method to make some body pay for it -- I paid assessment of 2 cts on Centennial today $40.30 delinquent tomorrow --
