towns of Kunkhul and Hurdwar
that further means of cross com-
-munication were unnecessary
I do not anticipate the slight-
-est inconvenience either to the
works or to the community
from the arrangements which
have been adopted in [the, struck through] this case
[of the Myapoor Regulator, struck through].

Again, at the Nanoon Fork,
where the whole traffic between
Caunpoor and Alligurh is car-
-ried over the regulators attached
to the heads of the two terminal
lines, I may observe, that the
use of the regulating appara-
-tus will never be so constant
as to cause interruption either
to the works or to the community,
that as the ^bridge roadway is made of
increased width, and the roads themselves
are laid out so as to give the
utmost facility of approach,
there appears to be no reason
why a separate bridge should
have been built at a cost of
15,000 [? struck through], for the convenience
of the Grand Trunk Road, whilst
the present regulators which must
have been in close proximity
were limited to canal purposes.
At any rate considered as an
experiment the plan carried out
has the merit of economy; with
the advantage (supposing [that, struck through]
the road authorities find by
experience that the communica-
-tion offered by the present line
is
