Particular Notice of the seven hhds mark'd [marked] M I x C They were made at the Mountains and carried about ninety Miles The Inspectors assured me, that in very respect they [excitted?] any tobo. [tobacco] that was brought to their warehouse, tho' they passed about twelve hundred hhds. They are some what too light; but as I had such a character of them, I chose not to prep them again at the warehouse least it should be done in too great a Hurry. If your Opinion comes up to what these men & my own Servants have told me it will be an Incourragement [Encouragement] to endeavour to improve this part of my Estate. I must now tell you what Bills of Excha. [Exchange] I have drawn on you; and they are as followeth

I have experienced so many Instances of your good Nature that I could not have doubted your giving Credit to these Bills; but as I was desirous to make my Business as easy as I could, I borrowed five hundd [hundred] pounds of Colo. [Colonel] Burwell, & you have his Bills for that Sum on Mr Edwards Athawes herein inclosed.
