We write this Short Line to you as Trustees of the Nomony Estate; & are very sorry it is to advise of some larger Drafts we have made on you, than we were at all inclined to: but they could not be avoided. They are as follow;

To Philip Lightfoot Esq;..... 138_3_10
[pound sign] 484_14_5 1/2
amounting to four hundred eighty four pounds, fourteen Shilling & five pence half penny. We are not [inocnoible?] how small a bala. [balance] is due to this Estate from you; but as you will have one hundred & odd hhds of the Estates Tobo.[tobacco] this year, & as we hope there will be no Cause to make such Drafts for the future, before we are in Cash, we desire you to pay these Bills, & place to Accot. [Account] of the Estate. we shall not add, because the Secretary will explain these matters more fully. And so we remain,

We design no more by this than just advise of the Bills we have drawn on you as Execution to Mann Page Esq; deceased, leaving the causes of drawing them to be Explained by the Secretary in his own Letters. The Bills are as follow,
