Sir,
Being in Hopes that the Stannage may sale (underlined) be dispached in about a month, I desire you will order an Insurance to be made on forty six hhds of my Tobacco to be consigned to you by her, at such a value as you shall judge they will bear. Thirty four of them are stemm'd & the remaining twelve leaf. Next week I shall send a Messenger up to my Brother Charle's to see what can be done towards Recovering the Outstanding debts of the Antilopes Cargo and is I can be so fortunate as to get any Bills of Exchange or any sum of money worth sending you shall have it by Cap Hill, otherwise you may depend on the whole affairs being compleated next Summer I am
