Writ to me, I shall write to you by the first Oppor
tunity after I have done something in this Affair,
and in the Mean time am,

Sir,
Mr. Willis having agreed to take bills
of Exchange on you payable at Christmas next,
I have given them to him for five hundred and
thirty four pounds, Eighteen shillings and
nine pence, the balance due to him according to
the Account here inclos'd, and if there should be
any Mistake they may be easily rectify'd by your
acco. is current which are not now all at this place.

with a desire that I should send you some Cash, in some
Short time, I take this Opportunity by Gunby, to send
You a proper answer. which I think may best be
Collected from my Acco.t [account] now sent herewith, as it
consists of various Articles which might perhaps
have Been better Explained if you could have thought
proper to have met me here, it will require the greater
attention & greater patience to prevent mistakes &
Misunderstandings from going any farther and
tho' I know of no one article, without a Sufficient
Voucher, after a carefull examination & Comparison
of the Books & papers ready to be produced, yet
