She might well have sailed three weeks sooner, had it not been by the fault of our Master Wm. Dick. By which Delay Captain Micous ship had the Advantage of sailing before her, and probably of being first at the market. For this & other Reasons we do hereby desire you, if Captain Dick does not behave himself with great diligence and Prudence in our Business, to put a more proper person in his Place; and in such case we agree to allow him Wages till his arrival in Virga. [Virginia] provided he takes his Passage immediately after his discharge. We desire you will send us word by way of London, if no Opportunity offers sooner from your Port. what your Opinion is of a forward market for the present Crop: because we intend. if you can give us any incouragements [encouragements], to send back our Brig. to you immediately with another Load of Tobo.
