24 SPARTA TURKISH BATH INSTITUTE.

CASSVILLE, Wis., Feb. 8th, 1874.
A. B. NICHOLS, M. D.
DEAR SIR: - I will say that you are at liberty to use my name and address
in reference to the benefits that I received from using the Mineral Waters
Sparta, for it there is any one that can heartily recommend them to those that
are afflicted with Neuralgia, I can, and also for General Debility, for I came to
Sparta feeble and weak, after suffering for more than six months, with Neuralgia
previous to my going to Sparta, and I improved from the day that I went, until
I came away. After staying five weeks I looked so much better that my
friends were astonished at the improvement. I am satisfied in my own mind
that had I but stayed five weeks more I should have been entirely cured, but as
it is, there is some Neuralgia still left, yet I am well to what I ever thought I
would be at one time. Now Doctor this is my feeling on the subject, and any-
thing that I can do for the Institution I am willing to do. If you want to pub-
lish a formal certificate to this effect please write me, and sent it to me and I
will sign it. Yours truly,
A. J. LONG.

Dyspepsia of Long Standing.

I hereby certify that I am over sixty-eight years of age, and have enjoyed gen-
eral good health until the last four years. Owing to constant close confine-
ment, and severe labor, in discharge of my official duties as postmaster for the
past seven years, my general health became seriously impaired. I became
Dyspeptic to a degree almost insufferable, with lost of appetite and general
weakness - this increasing from year to year, with a marked feeling of fatigue
and languor during the afternoons, and an evident general relaxation of the
nervous and muscular systems, that gave solemn warning of premature old age,
and its accompanying infirmities.

In the month of April, 1868, I began to use the Magnetic Mineral Water, on
account of its peculiar coolness and freshness, as a beverage. After a few weeks
of its constant use, I unexpectedly found my general health improving, and,
encouraged in the belief that it possessed peculiar medical and curative proper-
ties, continued to use it as a drink, and also as a bath, during the entire summer.
I feel now an entirely renewed man, with the strength and vigor of twenty year,
ago. My weight has also steadily increased under the use of the water - now
weighing ten pounds more than ever before in my life; and I fully believe, from
my own experience, and what I have seen of the effects of the water upon
others, that its medical and curative properties are of the highest importance to
debilitated and diseased persons generally.
