Shell subfusiform, turrited [turreted?], largely & longitudinally folded, transversely & alternately striated; suture irregularly impressed; whorls eight, convex; columella with two folds; canal short, reflected; mouth ovate, two fifths the length of the shell; outer lip sharp, within striate.
