HOLLY FEST MEMO

The Mothers' Guild annual Holly Fest Arts and Crafts Fair
is scheduled for November 13, 1983 from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
We know you will want to participate in some way in this event,
whether it is through a contribution of your home baked goods,
candy or crafts. It could be working on the day of the fair or
coming to shop and support our event and the talented artists and
craftspeople who will be exhibiting.

We will have a wide variety of artists and craftspeople in this
juried show, and their work will include many different media, from
watercolors and acrylics to basketry and quilting. The show will be
judged and ribbons will be awarded to the winners.

The Mothers' Guild Christmas Booth will have many unique hand-
made items to decorate your home and tree for the holidays. The
Blue and Gold Booth is always popular for the Marquette family Christmas
shopping, with many of our traditional items, such as the M-m-m-m
Marquette Cookbook, the "Marvelous Mom" aprons, the commemorative
plate, etc., and of course, a great new gift idea for your sons and
daughters, available only in the Blue and Gold Booth at Holly Fest.

You will also have a chance to win one of our raffle items
This year we have a beautiful quilt, a Gingerbread House, a needle-
point train, a down-filled vest and sweater, a hand-quilted Advent
calendar, and a wooden cradle, complete with doll and blanket.

In our Bakery and Pantry Booth we will have, fresh from your
ovens, an assortment of breads, cakes, cookies, pies and pastry.
Homemade candy is such a special treat. Our Candy Chairman has some
easy and delicious recipes available for you. You will be getting
a mailer for pre-ordering Kingle, with a choice of nine flavors, for
pick-up on the day of Holly Fest.

If you would like to take part and help in any area, a listing
of the chairmen is on the reverse side.

PLEASE COME ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 13---Come for coffee and kringle
after church--Don't cook--chicken dinners and pizza will be served
all day, with carryouts available. Invite friends and neighbors.
Do some Christmas shopping. This is an important fund-raising event
for MUHS Mothers' Guild. We love, need and appreciate your support:
