These situations having not moved the Mestizos
nor the rest who live so far from the church
to help out by sending their children to become altar boys
so that they would reciprocally help
one another at least in the
service of the church and the general welfare of
everyone. Certainly there is no doubt that without these
altar boys, it would be necessary to put some halt [to this]
so that the holy sacraments are not delivered
to the sick without due decency.
[The opposite] would be to the detriment of the
sick [already] in extreme danger.
Thus = To your lordship I ask and beg
that you find it useful that we presented ourselves with
the writing of said natives and your decsion,
and command according to what I have asked given that
it is justice that I hope from your lordship. And in what is
