ppalmer1611 added a note to Christmas Carol 16 recto in A Christmas Carol Manuscript in Deciphering Dickens, saying “For the insertion at line 12 ("they might be guilty governments") it appears Dickens has deleted "governments" right before "governments," perhaps because he misspelled it? I cannot figure out exactly how he misspelled it, though.”
