On the 18^th day of March A D 1855 the former Governor of the State of Alabama issued to me a commission as Notary Public for Mobile County which commission will expire on the 18^th day of March next. I will be obliged if consistant with your wishes you will renew my commission for another term. I beg to refer you to the annexed recommendation
