I have
the honor to represent to
you that I reported at Selma
& organised 2^d Class Militia for
Wilcox. Co. Robert Tait elected
2^d Lieut,, Commanding, To my
surprise there was only Seventeen (17)
men presant that were liable.
About thirty (30) were detailed
having paid $5⁰⁰ as overseers[?]
The Medical board declared
fifty (56) six unfit for duty.
