5/ doggone thing that made me feel I was a hell of a long way from someone. Of course a private could take the officers place in the dugout as far as feelings are concerned, as strange to say even we have feelings occasionally. According to reports, I left the line at the right time. You know there is no shortage of gas in this county, and it isn't used for heating or lighting. Oliver is no doubt feeling rotten, but think he will be OK in a day or two. Percy Foster went down the line with the same complaint. Anyone who takes more than one sniff of that stuff (voluntarily) is to be compared with that pet over in the orchard. Sorry you are having such a perfectly awful time attending choir practice. Endeavor etc what was the topic? (How to say my gracious when you mean a good honest damn)? I always endeavor to go to Church -- when the parade is compulsory. It isn't how much room you occupy in the choir it is how much noise you can make. The tobacco came O.K.
