miles at a time. Cliff was scouting
in France & I might say Cliff was
naturally adapted to be a good
scout, & very dangerous work it
is. Cliff can entertain by the hour,
& is as great a talker as ever. He
has some interesting souvenirs too,
his line being very suitable to getting
souvenirs. A scouts business is largely
to find out information about the

The hospital at Orpington is a
Canadian hospital the whole institution
being run by Canadians, but the patients
are Canadian, Imperial, Australian, New Zealanders, etc,
but mostly Canadians.
Cliff says he liked it better at Lincoln which
is an Imperial hospital, & he was the only
Canadian in it. Cliff may be sent back
to Canada before long.

Well Nettie I must close. I will
enclose a few snaps. We have a
route march to-morrow. We had big
field operation to-day.

Some wedding bells in the vicinity eh.
I got a letter from Florence Watson. A good
stroke of business at the skating rink eh. I would
like to hear that "Ye Olde Tyme concert" Love to all from
Oliver.
