Somewhere in France

Dear Sister:
Just a line to let
you know that I am feelingJake
An at the same place as when
I wrote you last but not for
many hours. I should soon
get some mail now. I had some
surprise this afternoon when Dave
Radcliffe walked into the tent.
He left the line the last day of April,
his right arm being temporarily
paralyzed. He will probably be going
up to the line in a few days. He
is sure lookingn fine now, but he
like the rest of the boys are seen
some hardships last winter. Dave
was in the Vinny Ridge affair, Jack
evans was buried in France; he died
