Hamilton, N.Y. March 16 1889 Tho Robt, Russell Sr. Orange Texas. Dear Sir You will no doubt be somewhat suprised at receiving a letter from this part of the Union, but perhaps some explanations on my part will make matters plain You I believe are a son of Ernest Russell and went with your people from this part of N.Y. Some years ago you had for a time in your employ a boy by the name of Charlie Russell who was a grandson of your father. When he returned north you sent aletter
