Your favor of the 9th inst.
received. We have made such
an examiniation of the records
as we could find time to do
but have not been successful
in finding any real estate in
the name of McFarland and
only two pieces which ever
passed through that name. It seems
doubtful if M .F. ever had any re-
cord title for any lots in Lex-
ington other than the two men-
tioned. If you wish a more
thorough search made send
$5.00 to pay the recorder and
we will have him go through
the records carefully.
