Flight Sergeant Fergie was the pilot of a Bisley
aircraft of No. 162 Squadron, Habbaniya which crashed
while taking off on August 13th, 1942 from that
Aloodrome. The aircraft hit the top of a dyke wall
in the vicinity and crashed, all the crew, including
Flight Sergeant Fergie, being killed instantly. He was
buried in the British Cemetery at Habbaniya,
Egypt.
