424797 Leading Aircraftman Laurence Leo FORSMAN.
Wife: Mrs. M.E. Forsman of Te Awamutu (3 Children)

Laurence Forsman was born at Auckland on the 6th May (1948 should be 1928) He spent a year in Territorial Training prior to his enlistment in the Royal New Zealand Air Force on August 3rd, 1942, and was formerly employed by the Waipa County Council, Te Awamutu as a grader driver for 2 years.

Leading Aircraftman Forsman on his entry into the R.N.Z.A.F. was mustered as AC1 Driver (Grader) Group III at Rukuhia and on November 1, 1942, was reclassified as Leading Aircraftman being transferred to Waipapakauri shortly afterwards.

As the result of a motor accident on December 31st 1942 Leading Aircraftman Forsman died at the Kaitaia Hospital on Jan 1 1943. He was buried in the Waikumete Cemetery, Auckland.
