Charles D. Belden, Esq
formerly of the State of Connecticut but
now of the City of Brooklyn New York,
is an applicant for the appointment
to the office of associate judge of the
territory of Nevada

I cordially commend Mr
Belden to the favorable consideration
of the government as a good lawyer
a man of strict integrity and a
gentleman in every way well
qualified for the desired position
