Testing
I cannot identify the Wooding. The first letter of his given name appears to be a C (look at the Watson in the previous line) but there was only one Wooding from Virginia who was enlisted in the CSA and his middle initial was C. There was an S.D. Wooding in the 53rd but I know nothing about him. He could have been a civilian (maybe a slave?) who had some reason to visit the 53rd but I have not identified him yet. Nat Wooding
