most probably Patrick Dillard Steptoe. There are deeds recorded in this name at the Pittsylvania CH in the 1860s. According to what I could find, Patrick Dillon Steptoe married Lucy Charles Clement, daughter of Lucy Ann (Hunt) and Charles Johnson Clement, making her the niece of JWG and wife Nancy. In a will recorded on 26 May 1862, Steptoe states: "I want under no circumstances a single Dollar of my Estate to go back to my wife's family beyond her bodily heirs." They had 1 child, Lucy Anna.
