21st walked up to Mrs Colemans this day Kitt returned from Lynchg about 2
oclock. gone 2½ days — all safe & sound

22nd Finishing Hilling our second yrs land
Plowing in corn, - weather fine & dry
on Saturday 20th Planted some Tobacco

24th Cutting off new ground Hills & Planted
Tobacco the whole day. - Planted all our new groundno Rain

25. Planting this morning in second Land
Plowing Sweet Potatoes & Corn & cotton
Hilling on Branch yet -

26 Plowing corn at stony point
Thining corn this morning
began to weed corn at 12 oclock.

27. replanted Cotton. gone to mill 6 Bus.
corn. weeding corn by Malissas House
& finishing Plowing over corn once except
some wet spots. fine growing weather
Sent for Mr Lewis’s man cow [unclear]
[D?] took him & several more
Sheared sheep Thining corn & nearly
done, Planted Tobacco yesterday & to
day in second yrs ground & finished

29 Planting on Branch to day &
bushing Oats etc etc,

30 Raining & doing but little —

31. waggon started to Lynchg, weeding
cotton Patch Potatoes & Planted Irish
Potatoes. weeding corn etc. —

June 1st. Same work.
